Amadeyr Cloud Ltd. a social enterprise aimed at bridging the literacy and digital divide in Bangladesh and maximizing information efficiency by the use of information technology, has signed a partnership contract with Eucalyptus Systems, creators of the most widely deployed open source on-premise infrastructure as a service (IaaS) cloud platform.
For more than 2 years Amadeyr Cloud Ltd. is building it’s own infrastructure on open source technologies. Amadeyr Cloud (ACL) has introduced Amadeyr Tablet, android hand held devices that have been specifically designed and customized by ACL for use by semi literate, and illiterate users. Amadeyr Cloud has successfully run multiple pilot projects in rural areas demonstrating access to information through audio and visual cues.
